A stylish, architect-designed detached 4-bedroom home in a rural Cambridgeshire village location

Built in 2015/2016, this striking property features Siberian larch cladding and inside offers light, airy and contemporary-styled accommodation. The ground floor has engineered oak flooring to all rooms, with a bright reception hallway leading through to an impressive kitchen/dining and family room at the rear, which provides the open-plan hub of this home, filled with natural light. The kitchen is fitted with ultra-modern German-made units, Neff appliances and a dual-zone wine fridge and the dining area provides ample space for a good-sized table. A Rais feature wood-burner can be appreciated from both the kitchen/dining room and the family room, from which glazed-sliding doors give access to a rear terrace. A versatile front aspect room is currently in use as a playroom and the accommodation at this level is completed by a utility room with door to the outside, as well as a cloakroom.

A solid oak staircase leads up to the first floor, where vaulted ceilings have remoted controlled Velux skylights and the accommodation comprises four bedrooms and a family bathroom. The principal bedroom has a wall of fitted wardrobes, a well-fitted en suite shower room and French doors to a Juliette balcony, affording views across the fields.

Outside

To the front of the property, the gravelled driveway has a border of mature shrubs and trees, with paving leading to the covered front porch and a side gate. The rear garden is well-maintained, laid to lawn, with evergreen hedging to one side and a south-facing sun terrace ideal for outdoor dining and relaxation. A central path gives access to a further terrace and an excellent garden office, with Larch cladding, triple glazed sliding door and wifi heater and has a living roof of sedum plants.
