Set within stunning formal gardens, Flagpole House is an exceptional, individually designed family house with the benefit of useful ancillary accommodation. This awe inspiring house presents andeb ideal opportunity for those seeking a unique home of immense character, with a wealth of striking architectural features and light-filled spaces.

The reception rooms are generously proportioned, particularly the sitting room with its impressive vaulted ceiling, skylights and arched windows, all contributing to the sense of light and space. Double doors open the room out to the gardens and being split-level, provides separate areas for relaxation and dining.

The drawing room, with its mellow oak floor, enjoys direct access to the gardens via two sets of double doors and incorporates sitting and dining areas. A contemporary inset log burning stove provides an attractive focal point. Through double doors is the bespoke Mark Wilkinson kitchen which has been extensively fitted with a stylish range of units, granite worksurfaces and integrated appliances including a 5-ring gas hob, a Gaggenau double oven, Gaggenau fridge/freezer, Miele dishwasher and Miele washing machine. The Cotswold Stone tiled floor extends through to the vaulted hallway where access can be gained to a cloakroom.

Located on the first floor is the master bedroom featuring a vaulted beamed ceiling and a bay window that takes advantage of the pleasant outlook over the garden, and an en suite Villeroy and Boch bathroom. Two further bedrooms boast vaulted ceilings and there is a fourth bedroom, presently being used as a dressing room. A family bathroom completes the accommodation on this floor.

In addition to the main house, there is ancillary accommodation in the form of a detached annexe, situated towards the rear of the garden. The ground floor accommodation comprises a spacious sitting room, a kitchen/breakfast room with double doors opening out to a covered outdoor seating area, and a shower room. The first floor contains a sizeable bedroom with a vaulted ceiling and plenty of storage space.

Flagpole house is approached via electrically operated gates, opening onto a shingled driveway that provides ample space for parking. The classical formal garden is undoubtedly a key feature of the property and extends around the side and rear of the house. It has been skilfully created and planted to create immense visual impact, with shaped areas of lawn, a central water feature, meticulously clipped box hedging, ornamental trees, topiary and beautifully stocked flower beds. The garden is maintained by a comprehensive irrigation system and outbuildings include a greenhouse, a garden shed and a utility shed.
