Schooling is excellent both in the state and private sector, with schools worthy of particular note including the preparatory school, Packwood Haugh, Oswestry Grammar School, Moreton School for Girls and Ellesmere College. Access to the commuter routes is excellent with the A5 linking north to Wrexham and Chester and on to Liverpool and Manchester. To the south-east the A5 links via Shrewsbury to the M54 which leads to the West Midland conurbation and the national motorway network. A rail service can be found at Gobowen and Chester with services to Manchester and London. Airports are at Liverpool, Manchester and Birmingham.

Directions

From Shrewsbury continue north-west along the A5 and after approximately 10 miles turn left onto the B4396 towards Knockin. After turning onto the B4396, take the first turning on the left and proceed into the village of Kinnerley. Proceed along the lane, turning left onto Kinnerley lane and continue for a short distance where the gates to Paddock Lodge will be observed on the left hand side.
