An impressive and attractive five/six bedroom detached family home, in an idyllic village setting

Greystones is a splendid, detached family home, set in the heart of the small Oxfordshire village of Great Haseley. The property, with its attractive Oxford stone elevations, has five bedrooms and beautifully presented accommodation, along with a well-maintained garden. The main ground floor living space is the sitting room, garden room and kitchen, which flow together in a semi open-plan layout. The sitting room has a fireplace with a Chesneys wood stove, while the adjoining garden room has a sunny southwest-facing aspect and opens onto the garden via French doors. The large kitchen has farmhouse-style units, a butler sink and an Aga, as well as space for a dining table. The ground floor also has a comfortable family room, which welcomes plenty of natural light from its triple aspect and an open fireplace. There are three double bedrooms on the first floor and a study, which could be used as a further bedroom. The principal bedroom has fitted storage and an en suite shower room. The first floor also has a family bathroom and an additional shower room, while there are a further two double bedrooms found on the second floor. There are unadulterated views from the property towards the church, the Manor House and over open countryside. Greystones epitomises an 'edge of village' house.

This property has 0.3 acres of land.

Outside

The property is set in a wonderful garden, which is well maintained and provides a superb space in which to relax or entertain. To the front of the house there is a spacious gravel driveway, with parking for several vehicles. The southwestfacing rear garden has a gravel terrace area for al fresco dining and lawns, which are divided into three areas by established hedgerow. The gardens are well maintained with year round structure (Box, Yew, Hornbeam, Beech). The beds and borders have Garsington inspired planting to impress throughout the growing season. Towards the end of the garden there is a timber-framed summer house with electricity.
