The ground floor includes an entrance hall, reception room with exposed beams, working Inglenook fireplace and a separate dual aspect dining room or potential family room/study to the front of the property. Overlooking the garden is the well-equipped kitchen/breakfast room with tiled flooring, more beautiful beams and French doors leading onto the garden. There is also a separate guest cloakroom.
To the first floor there is a principal bedroom with exposed stone chimney breast, fitted cupboards and freestanding Egg bath, two further bedrooms (a double and a single) and a stylish shower room.
Outside
Outside there is an attractive south facing cottage style garden with paved patio perfect for al fresco dining and idyllic views across open farmland from the sun terrace situated at the bottom of the garden. There is a pedestrian right of way over the rear garden of the neighbouring property. The property also benefits from a garage, off-street parking and a separate allotment further down the lane.
Latchford Lane is ideally positioned for someone seeking village life but requiring great access to communications and to the amenities offered by a larger town or city.
Situation
Great Haseley is one of the most sought after villages in south/east Oxfordshire. Most of the properties are built from local stone and date back to the 17th century with parts of St Peter’s Church dating back to 1100 AD. The village has many features including a Gastro pub and cricket pitch. In neighbouring Great Milton is Raymond Blanc's famous restaurant Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons. Other landmarks include the Great Haseley Windmill. A wider range of amenities are available in nearby Oxford, Thame, Watlington and Wheatley.
There are primary schools in nearby Great and Little Milton and the village is with easy access of the Oxford and Abingdon schools as well as the popular local prep schools of Moulsford and Ashfold.
Communications are excellent with road links to London and Oxford via the M40 and A40, J7 being 1.8 miles and J8 3 miles. There is an excellent rail service from Haddenham/Thame Parkway to London Marylebone on the Chiltern Line with a journey time from 41 mins.
