Situation

Location Milford is a small village divided from the town of Newtown by the meandering River Severn. Directions

Directions From Shrewsbury take the A458 to Welshpool and A483 to Newtown. Take the Newtown Bypass and at the second roundabout take the third exit signed to Newtown. On entering the 30 mile speed restriction, continue through the pedestrian traffic lights, and across the next traffic lights, continuing across the River Severn on the B4568 heading out of town. After about one mile, take the left hand turning opposite a black and white cottage into Mill Fields and immediately right down a private drive which leads down to electric gates opening to Milford Hall.
