The property Penylan Hall is an elegantly restored Grade II Listed country house situated at the end of a long private drive, surrounded by beautiful gardens and parkland. The property, which is primarily Regency was greatly extended in the Victorian period with Italianate Villa influence. The property is beautifully presented showcasing the best elements of exquisite contemporary country house design, with high quality fixtures and fittings that enhance the history of the house.

Penylan Hall has been comprehensively renovated to a high standard of interior design by the current owners to create a wonderful well centred house, suited for both family living and large scale entertaining. Leading from the bright and spacious entrance hall are the principal reception rooms and of particular note is the south facing drawing room with moulded cornicing, open fire place and large sash windows framing the views out of the outstanding garden. The Regency garden room leads out to the terrace and garden, it also connects both the dining room and morning room. Opposite the drawing room is the library with bespoke bookcase and cabinetry.

The handmade kitchen comprises a central island and four oven AGA with plate warmer, two hobs and electric companion. Outside

Outside The gardens and grounds are a particularly impressive element of the property and have been skilfully planned and designed by the current owners.

The formal gardens are primarily arranged to the south and east of the house with shingle paths, mature hedging and herbaceous borders providing various ‘rooms’. The stunning perennial planting provides colour for much of the year with a collection of hydrangeas flowering throughout the summer. Hard landscaping is provided in the form of paved terracing, strategically positioned for outside dining. The gardens are framed by mature trees and hedging. The grounds and land are notable for the beautiful mature trees which provide a lovely backdrop to the neighbouring fields. Privacy is secured by open countryside in all directions and no neighbouring houses. The land to the front of the property is available by separate negotiation and has additional gated access from Penylan Lane.
