A stylish semi-detached family home with a wonderful garden and close to the high street and station
63 Priory Road is a well-presented four bedroom home that features modern fittings and clean, understated styling with an eye for detail throughout. The ground floor has a welcoming entrance with an impressive floating staircase and an open feel, leading to the sitting room with its brick-built open fireplace. The separate study to the front is an ideal space for home working and features a corner fireplace, which has its original tiled surround. Towards the rear, the kitchen and breakfast room has contemporary units with wooden worktops, a central island and integrated appliances, while there is also space for a dining table. There are three double bedrooms of similar proportions on the first floor, as well as the family bathroom with its freestanding bathtub and separate shower unit. The principal bedroom is located on the second floor with skylights overhead and an en suite shower room.
Outside
At the front of the property, the gravel driveway provides plenty of parking space for several vehicles and access to the rear gardens, as well as the timber-framed outbuilding for home and garden storage. The garden to the rear extends to approximately 100ft and includes a patio area with a timber deck, an area of lawn with central raised beds, a greenhouse, a summerhouse and a gravel terrace at the end of the garden, which is ideal for al fresco dining. The garden also includes established border shrubs and flowerbeds with various perennial flowering plants.
Situation
63 Priory Road is located in the heart of the sought-after town of Hungerford, surrounded by the stunning countryside of the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Hungerford is a delightful market town, well known for its many antique shops, and offers comprehensive shopping facilities with a practical mix of the larger supermarkets alongside charming independent shops and well known boutiques, and a vibrant weekly market on the high street. There is a fantastic local community and the town provides most day-today services including primary and secondary schools, a doctors' surgery and leisure centre with swimming pool. The larger market towns of Newbury and Marlborough are both a short distance away and offer a wide range of amenities.
Directions
From Newbury, follow the A4 west to Hungerford. Once in Hungerford, at the second mini-roundabout turn left signposted to Salisbury, continue through the town. At the fourth roundabout, take the first exit onto Priory Road, and you will find the property on the left shortly after passing the turning for Bulpit Lane.
