Virtual viewing available: An unusual cliff top property with stunning beach and sea views

Changing Winds is situated in a quiet private road in the tranquil residential area of Fairlight, nestled between Hastings and Rye. Set on the top of the cliffs, the house is positioned to take full advantage of its location with stunning views to the east overlooking Fairlight Cove and uninterrupted views of the Channel to the south.

Currently the house is arranged as two separate units with each floor being self-contained. However planning permission has been granted for a replacement dwelling. Plans for the new house can be viewed on line at Rother District Council website (ref: RR/2020/27/P). Alternatively there could be an opportunity to return the existing house to one residential unit with some modest internal alterations. No permission for this has currently been sought.

Once completed the house will provide excellent family accommodation, with fabulous reception space with plenty of floor to ceiling sliding glass doors to enjoy the view to its fullest. There will be three bedrooms and three bathrooms.

Changing Winds has the potential to be one of the finest coastal homes in this relatively undiscovered area of the East Sussex shoreline.

This property has 0.3 acres of land.

Outside

There is a parking area to the side of the entrance to the property. A pedestrian gate opens to the garden, which is mainly laid to lawn and bordered by mature trees and shrubs. A garage building sits to the side of the house.
