Nearby, Embleton provides several local amenities including a village shop, a doctor’s surgery and a primary school. The village of Seahouses, six miles up the coast, provides further amenities, as does the historic town of Alnwick, which is nine miles to the south and provides a choice of shops, supermarkets and leisure facilities. The A1 is within easy reach, providing access towards the Scottish borders to the north, and towards Newcastle upon Tyne to the south.

Directions

From Morpeth, take the A1 north towards Alnwick and after almost 18 miles, take the exit for the B1340 (Seahouses/Alnwick/Denwick). Turn right onto the B1340 and continue to follow the B1340 for just over seven miles. Arriving at a T-junction, turn left and then immediately right, following the sign for Newton-by-the-Sea. After three quarters of a mile, fork to the left at the green and you will find the property shortly on your left-hand side.
