Well Cottage is a delightul house, located on a quiet country lane with lovely views over the surrounding countryside. The current owner has sympathetically extended and refurbished the house and most recently re-fitted the kitchen all of which has contributed to the creation of a lovely family home.
The porched front door opens into the hall which then leads to the exceptionally well fitted and large open plan kitchen/breakfast room. This light room, with slate flooring, includes a breakfast island as well as a separate dining area providing flexible space for informal or formal dining. From here one can reach the stylish drawing room, with fireplace and wood burning stove, and the study. One of the notable features is the very generously proportioned main bedroom and bathroom suite to the rear of the house which has bi-fold doors opening out onto the garden.
On the first floor there are four further bedrooms, two of them with views over the fields to the front and a family bathroom.
Well Cottage is approached across a front garden and there is a wide gravel drive alongside the house which leads down to a brick built double carport.
To the rear, a decked area links to the large, open garden which is laid to lawn and surrounded by hedging.
Surrounded by the South Downs National Park, the house has all the benefits of being in the midst of the renowned Meon Valley and within half a mile of the village of Swanmore with its village shop and post office, butchers and a hairdressers.
