The village is surrounded by gently undulating farmland and located within an easy drive of the medieval market town and Hanseatic port of King’s Lynn (16 miles) from where there is a mainline rail service to London Kings Cross (97 mins) via Cambridge. There are many attractions in the immediate vicinity, such as the Royal Estate of Sandringham to the south (through which one passes on the way to King’s Lynn) and Anmer Hall, home to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, as well as mile upon mile of sandy beaches, creeks and marshes stretching along the North Norfolk coast from Old Hunstanton to Blakeney. The coast offers RSPB reserves, link golf courses and many excellent pubs and restaurants to sample as well as walks and of course good sailing from a number of pretty, natural harbours.


Turn off the A149 at the Heacham Lavender Fields and approach Sedgeford on the B1454. On entering the village take the right hand turn signed Snettisham. As the road levels out turn right into Church Lane and the private road into West Hall Farm Barns can be found on the left hand side. The Cart Lodges is the first property on the left.
