Wilton Cottage is a very pretty detached Grade II listed property with light and airy accommodation throughout. The property has been well maintained and improved over the years and provides many options for families. The ground floor has a spacious and bright kitchen/breakfast room with an oil fired AGA and electric companion AGA which is useful in summer months. A feature of the kitchen is an old well now covered with glass. Adjoining the kitchen is a utility area with large sink and cupboards, and there is access to the cellar here. The kitchen leads to a dining room and formal drawing room, off which is a lovely conservatory overlooking the garden. The conservatory has underfloor heating making this a fabulous room all year round. A second spacious sitting room provides a more versatile space and has been used in the past as a family room and study. Off the entrance hall there is a cloakroom/wet room with shower and underfloor heating. The first floor consists of a master bedroom with en suite and built in wardrobes. There are a further three double bedrooms one with open vaulted ceiling and fitted wardrobes. These rooms benefit from a family bathroom.

Outside

Wilton Cottage is approached via a 5 bar gate which leads to a large gravelled drive which can accommodate parking for several cars. The charming and well stocked gardens wrap around the property on all sides. At the front of the property there is a double garage and a Granary barn on straddle stones. This has electricity and access to water. Currently used as storage but could be a useful home office. One area of the garden was designed by Hillier and are a particular feature. There is a small orchard with a summer house and this leads to a vegetable garden and shed.
