Ludlow sits in glorious countryside and, yes, it is slightly off the beaten track. But that is one of its strengths. We may be three hours from London, but the town is a magnet for buyers from outside the region.
A thriving market town, Ludlow has been described as both the best place to retire and the best foodie town. It is a well-deserved reputation, with a wide selection of independent butchers, bakers and delicatessens, a farmer’s market and the Ludlow Food Centre. There are also award-winning restaurants, such as the Michelin-starred Mr Underhill’s. This is set against the town’s architectural heritage, which includes more than 500 listed buildings.
The Strutt & Parker Ludlow team all live locally and are involved in the community. The office sponsors the Bitterley Point-to-Point, a school Christmas card competition, public gardens and local sports clubs.
We are passionate about property and the homes we are invited to sell. The demand for housing in the area is unrelenting. This year, we have seen a pick-up in buyers coming to Shropshire and north Herefordshire. Hopefully, the momentum we have built up will carry on. Rest assured, we will continue to offer an outstanding service for quality house sales, lettings and land management services.
