Q3 2014

It’s time to be positive. We are pleased to report that the past 12 months of trading saw the greatest number of houses transacted by our Morpeth office since way back in 2005-2006. We are of the opinion that the market is now back on track in our area.

It’s time to be positive. We are pleased to report that the past 12 months of trading saw the greatest number of houses transacted by our Morpeth office since way back in 2005-2006. We are of the opinion that the market is now back on track in our area.

The 2014 spring selling season in the North East went off with a bang. Bamburgh and other popular coastal villages are leading the way as usual, but houses around Morpeth and the ever-popular Tyne Valley are also all finding new owners.

We have seen an encouraging number of guide prices being exceeded recently. We have been particularly successful in matching buyers to sellers of ‘best in class’ properties.

Our passion for the local community and knowledge of our region is reaping terrific rewards for our clients. As approachable experts with the right attitude, we’ll continue to thrive as this market grows.

It is interesting to examine where our buyers are coming from, what they are looking for and where they are moving to. We have conducted some analytical research into buyer behaviour that we will be pleased to share with you, either in your home while giving you pre-marketing advice or here in our smart new Morpeth office.
