Another senior hire by firm as it expands its prime and super-prime network
Today Strutt & Parker announces the appointment of James Diaper as Director in its broker team, the latest in a series of senior hires by the firm in Prime London.
In his role, James will be covering prime and super prime markets in North London, including Hampstead, Highgate, Belsize Park, Primrose Hill and Camden. James joins Strutt & Parker following 12 years at Savills where, since 2019, he headed up the firm’s Hampstead office. With 15 years’ experience in North London at all price points, James specialises in transactions north of £5M across the traditional re-sale family home market.
James’ track record includes numerous stand out sales on prime streets including the likes of Downshire Hill, Keats Grove, The Grove and Millfield Lane, and includes securing the highest pound per square foot achieved on a home in Highgate in recent years of £2,640. At Strutt & Parker, James will be joining the newly announced broker team, working in conjunction with the firm’s network of offices in Prime Central London and beyond, Private Clients, and in particular with fellow North London agents Sarah James and Zach Madison.
Claire Reynolds, UK Head of Sales at Strutt & Parker, comments, “James has built an exceptional reputation in our industry and in his local market. His track record speaks for itself, but the relationships he has built with clients in the area are equally as impressive. He is a crucial addition to our brokerage team, and an asset to our office network, as we expand our services into key growth markets.”
Strutt & Parker recently announced the creation of its brokerage team to sit alongside the existing network of offices in Prime Central London, a step in the business’ growth strategy following investment from shareholder BNP Paribas last year. The growth ambitions for Strutt & Parker are set to redefine its position in the industry, expand market share, and extend into growing markets.
James Diaper, Director, Strutt & Parker adds, “I’m excited to be joining Strutt & Parker at both this point in my career and at this stage of the business’ expansion into new markets. Delivering a trusted, client-focused service is something I pride my professional career on, and I look forward to doing this alongside many agents I’ve spent much of my career working in conjunction with. North London is both my home and my specialised market, and I look forward to servicing clients with the high-quality service Strutt & Parker is well known for.”
Strutt & Parker’s broker team is comprised of a number of agents; Charles Medina, James Gow, Sarah James, and Hugh Ball, in addition to those hired by the firm in recent months; Andrew Chambers, Minnie Stainrod, Toby Downes, and Zach Madison.
