Suffolk is an excellent location if you're looking to live somewhere more rural and with a slower pace of life than the city – though Suffolk's city hub, Ipswich, has one of the fastest growing economies in the UK. If you're looking to sell your home or relocate to the region, our Suffolk estate agents can help you find your perfect home in the area, whether you're looking to rent or buy.
Our Suffolk team is experienced in a wide range of rural property services and can provide expert technical advice.
Living in Suffolk
There's something for everyone in Suffolk, from rural villages like Bury St Edmunds, Cavendish, Polstead and Coddenham, which are filled with thatched cottages, local pubs and plenty of countryside walks, through to modern homes and apartments in the city of Ipswich with its regenerated waterfront and pretty green spaces. The towns of Framlingham, Lowestoft, Newmarket and Felixstowe also offer a blend of coastal life, modern amenities and historical sites such as 12th-century Framlingham Castle. Over 750,000 have made Suffolk their home, and it's easy to see why.
Suffolk has something to offer whatever type of property you're looking for. From flats and apartments through to Listed homes, modern detached properties, pastel pink cottages (a signature colour of the area) and bungalows, as expert estate agents in Suffolk, we can help you find your dream home in the area.
Leave London via the A12 heading east towards Chelmsford. Continue on the A12 until Junction 32B for Copdock. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit, onto the A14. Remain on the A14 for 1.4 miles, taking Junction 56/A137 for Ipswich Central. On the slip road, remain in the right hand lane, taking the 3rd exit onto A137. Continue straight over the next roundabout, taking the 1st exit. Turn left after 0.1 miles onto The Street towards Wherstead Park. After 0.2 miles turn left onto Vicarage Lane. Strutt & Parker is located in The Stables, the building immediately on your right hand side.
The nearest train station is Ipswich Station and is a short 4-mile taxi journey to our office at Wherstead Park. This is the fastest connection to London, with trains to London Liverpool Street Station taking approximately 70 minutes. For train times call 08457 484950.
Parking is available in two locations at Wherstead Park. Upon entering Vicarage Lane, you will either continue round to the right, following signs to The Stables. Alternatively, there is a main car park straight ahead as you turn left into Vicarage Lane, which is only a short walk from the Strutt & Parker office.
What our clients have to say
We were very impressed with your calm professionalism and conscientious approach and hope you can help us search for our next project. Thanks to all at Strutt and Parker for making selling such a positive experience.
Strutt & Parker thought 'out of the box' by contacting us with a suitable client, even though the house was off the market for the winter period. By this action and successful matching we are very happy to have sold our house and we are now off to pursue our French dream for the 2nd time!' Highly recommend S&P for their very personal, efficient and friendly touch.
We engaged Strutt & Parker to sell our last house in Felsted and they also acted for the seller when we purchased the Elms. We were impressed with them so when we came to sell the Elms they were the natural choice. Strutt & Parker managed to find us a discerning and serious buyer very quickly through their extensive network of contacts, and at a price we were very happy with. We would have no hesitation on recommending Strutt & Parker.
