Dan is a BASIS and BETA Conservation Management qualified agronomist, as well as a member of the Association of Independent Crop Consultants and Institute of Agricultural Management.

Dan Joined Strutt and Parker’s Farming Department in 2021 having spent three years working in the Western Australian agricultural industry. Dan split his time between harvest and seeding on a 17,000-acre cropping farm and mustering on a nine million acre, hundred thousand head cattle station in the Kimberly. Finally, Dan worked the 2021 vintage at a Margaret River winery, chiefly crushing and pressing the grapes.

Dan graduated from Harper Adams University with an Honours degree in Agriculture with Farm Business Management in 2018. The course included a 12-month placement which Dan spent working on a large mixed cropping and cattle farm in Kansas, USA.

Dan helped deliver the AHDBs Farm Business Review Service, providing farm businesses with advice on preparing for a post BPS world.

Away from work, Dan enjoys traveling, skiing and cycling.
