The Stables, Wherstead Park
Senior Associate Director, Estate AgencySuffolk
What are your key areas of responsibility at Strutt & Parker?
As head of the Suffolk office, I have the pleasure of leading a hugely experienced and pro-active team of agency professionals covering anything from a small character cottage to a large country home. We are all highly motivated people and make a determined effort to dispel the myths of estate agency by giving our clients the sort of service we would want and expect to receive. I get involved in every aspect of the business; from winning instructions, handling the marketing and sale of our properties to overseeing them right through to completion. I liaise closely with our Country House Department, New Homes team, and Land Department to make sure we provide a comprehensive service to meet all our client’s needs.
What’s the best thing about your job?
The huge variety of people and client’s houses I see every day plus, the satisfaction of seeing a sale right through to completion. I get to do all this whilst working within a professional property business with a wide spectrum of knowledge.
What has been your proudest moment at Strutt & Parker?
Being part of a team that doubled its market share in 18 months, moving more people successfully than the office had ever done before!
What do you love about the county you work in?
In Suffolk every day is different; variations of people and lifestyles we see from the country quirky cottage in the sticks, to the completely refurbished manor house on the edge of a village. Let’s not forget the incredible scenery that adapts from village to town, we also have some beautiful waterfront areas.
