Five bedroom country house in seven acres

Thought once to have been three tied cottages to the adjacent farm, High Chimneys was subsequently converted to provide five bedroom accommodation arranged over three floors plus an attic.

A generous entrance hall provides access to all the ground floor rooms, a cloak room and stairs to the first floor. The three reception rooms comprise of the south west facing dining room, a living room and spacious sitting room. The latter has a brick fireplace, windows to the side and rear aspect and French doors opening onto the gardens. The bright and welcoming kitchen/breakfast room has a good range of fitted wall and base units, an aga, double sink unit and integrated appliances. The dining section has doors opening onto the rear and a separate door leads into a utility room.

The first floor has a principal bedroom facing the front with an en suite bathroom. The second bedroom has often been used as a guest room with views over the gardens. There are three further bedrooms and a family bathroom which shares a Jack and Jill arrangement with the guest room. From the landing, a door leads to stairs ascending to the attic. This is presently divided into two sections, a studio and storage space, and offers vast potential for conversion, subject to the relevant consents.

This property has 7 acres of land.
