Established in 1936 and based at Coval Hall, Strutt and Parker Chelmsford sits centrally within the City, a short walk from the train station. The office houses a multi-disciplinary team of 50 professionals assisting clients with a wide range of property matters from of Development and Planning to Land Management, Estate Agency, Farming and Accountancy.
The 15 strong Land Management Team manages farms and estates across the region with 50,000 acres currently looked after by the team. Their daily work ranges from core estate management to strategic taxation advice, compulsory purchase, minerals and waste, telecoms, and residential lettings and management. The team also includes a number of RICS accredited valuers who can provide valuation reports for borrowing, tax or expert purposes.
Alongside the Land Management Team, the Chelmsford Farming Team provides expert agronomic and farm management advice to farmers across the region.
The National Development and Planning Team, comprising RICS accredited surveyors and RTPI accredited planners. It is involved in securing planning permission for large scale housing and commercial schemes across the region.
The Planning Team also provide comprehensive planning advice on strategic land promotion, site planning appraisals, and the management of the planning process in all facets of the residential, commercial, minerals and education development market.
The Development Team support private clients and the development industry dealing with the sale and purchase of development sites, option and promotion agreements and strategic advice to maximise the potential of land. They undertake a wide range of valuation for secured lending and other purposes.
The Chelmsford Estate Agency Team advise clients on the sale of properties in the City of Chelmsford and Country houses throughout Essex from the Dedham Valley in the North to beyond the Hanningfields in the South. Our experienced agency team have developed a first class reputation in delivering an unrivalled service in all property matters.

From the North
Exit the A12 at Junction 19 signposted the A130. Follow signs over various roundabouts along the A138 towards Chelmsford Town Centre. At the Army & Navy roundabout turn right, again signposted to the Town Centre. Proceed straight over one roundabout; a set of traffic lights; a second roundabout; under the railway line viaduct and then keep right at the following set of traffic lights. At the next set of traffic lights turn right and Strutt & Parker will be found on the left hand side after about 50 yards.
From the South
Exit the A12 at Junction 15 signposted the A414 to Chelmsford. At the roundabout, take the first exit signposted A414 to Chelmsford, follow the dual carriageway to the next roundabout and proceed straight over and at the following roundabout take the first exit. Proceed straight over three sets of traffic lights and at the fourth, keep in the right hand lane; proceed straight over and almost immediately at the next set of traffic lights turn right into Rainsford Road where Strutt & Parker will be found on the left hand side after about 400 yards.
