Improved results for East Herts and Tendring mean they will no longer have to apply a 20% buffer to their housing requirements. A number of authorities continue to exceed their requirements, including Uttlesford, with a measurement of 153%.
Strutt & Parker’s Chelmsford Planning team has produced the below maps, illustrating the latest results and their consequences for the authorities in the region.
Elsewhere in the region, all Bedfordshire authorities exceeded their requirements. Cambridgeshire and Norfolk authorities saw similarly strong results, with only two within each of these counties failing to meet requirements.
