Living in Bath

An iconic city surrounded by stunning countryside, Bath is famed for its magnificent architecture and relaxed pace of life. Recognised as a UNESCO world heritage site, Bath's streets are full of listed buildings and luxury amenities, giving the city a characteristic flavour of past meeting present.

Alongside the famous Roman baths themselves, Bath is home to several revered restaurants and bars, and Milsom Street is well known as an excellent location for shopping. Full of local independents and boutiques, the city is ideal for those looking for a bustling centre that still has a distinctive local flavour and sense of community.

For those who love the outdoors, Bath is right on the doorstep of the Cotswolds, which is full of breathtaking scenery and historic market towns. If you're also looking for access to more lively cities, Bristol is only a short journey away, and the train to London will only take an hour and fifteen minutes. What our clients have to say:

You have both been so very supportive from the beginning to the end, and we have felt to be in good and safe hands. You were always calm and steady and reassuring when necessary, and always very available to talk. Thank you. From TL
I really want to thank you both for hanging in there, behaving in the old fashioned gentle and patient approach which is not seen much in business these days to the detriment of all. You did your best to gain a higher figure than your original default price under difficult market circumstances, but gained that figure and to what seems like a most suitable family. From RH
Hi Alistair, the job of making sure all parties are happy while trying to get a deal done is indeed thankless - but one that in all walks of life is important to undertake with commitment and integrity that is sadly lacking in lots of walks of life these days. That you took time out from your family while on paternity leave to ensure all went well with this purchase means a lot to us and we genuinely appreciate your help in getting it done. From BO
I just wanted to say what an amazing job Alistair did. We have bought and sold houses numerous times but never encountered someone who was so helpful and kind and reassuring at every step of the way. We dithered at a number of points and, if it had been anyone else, we may well have not gone through with the deal. He was absolutely charming and made a very stressful experience much more pleasant than it would otherwise have been. We were very impressed and would come back to you again on the strength of it.
