Ian spent nearly 20 years at the Financial Times, managing one of the company’s largest advertising categories.
Seeking a better quality of life for himself and his family, they moved out of central London to rural Surrey.
He joined a well-established firm of estate agents and rose quickly to become a branch valuer, providing quality advice to vendors when appraising their property for market.
Ian has an extensive understanding of what is required to oversee a smooth sale.
He joined Strutt and Parker in 2021.
With one of his sons studying at Edinburgh University, he and his wife, moved to Edinburgh and made their home in the New Town.
At the weekends he enjoys walking his dogs, Ollie and Molly, and exploring Edinburgh and the surrounding countryside.
