The UK Government’s energy policy has set some ambitious targets for homes, with 13,000 properties a week requiring refurbishment to meet the goal of an 80% reduction in carbon emissions by 2050.

As part of achieving this, the Government is targeting improvements in the energy performance of the UK’s 26 million homes through the Green Deal and ECO schemes.
